Cinewood was born from frustration.

We weren't buying bad assets. We were buying bad businesses that happened to sell them.

Hundreds spent. Thousands gone — on Lightroom presets, LUTs, and film overlays that promised everything and delivered nothing. Ignored DMs. Unanswered questions. Another sale closed on someone else who hadn't figured it out yet.

We're not marketers who found a trending niche. We're editors, filmmakers, and colorists — people who grade footage for a living, and got tired of buying tools built by people who don't.

The market was full of generic, one-size-fits-all assets that made our job harder, not easier. So instead of buying another disappointing pack, we started building our own — testing, grading, and refining until the results actually held up on real footage, not just a sample reel.

That's still how we work. Our team — colorists, cinematographers, editors, and designers — builds every LUT, transition, and film overlay from real production experience, not guesswork. Color grades that hold their tone across skin types and lighting. Transitions that cut clean, not clunky. Film grain with actual texture, not a flat filter slapped on top.

So we built the brand we wished existed.
